Winter golf in Lexington, 2026–27: which city courses stay open, the posted winter rates, and four indoor simulators
Kearney Hill, Tates Creek and Picadome are listed as open every day but Christmas. Here is what the city's own pages list for the cold months, plus indoor options when the weather wins.
LEXINGTON, Ky., October 2026: Lexington golf does not stop in November. The city's Parks & Recreation pages say Kearney Hill Golf Links, Tates Creek Golf Course and the Gay Brewer, Jr. Course at Picadome are open year-round, except Christmas Day. Four of the five city courses list a seasonal (winter) green fee. The pages do not say what date winter rates begin, so ask the pro shop when you book.

Practice and gift cards from the city
The driving ranges at Lakeside and Kearney Hill are open 8 a.m. to dusk. The city's Play Golf Lexington range card ($300) covers unlimited range balls at either range during normal hours, and the city's page lists it at 50% off from Oct. 1 through Dec. 31. The Play Golf Lexington loyalty card ($100) takes $5 off non-discounted 18- and 9-hole rates. It cannot be combined with other promotions, including GolfNow deals, and you need a photo ID. Both cards are sold at any city golf course, and the city pitches them as gifts.
