Gay Brewer, Jr. Course at Picadome is Lexington’s in-town public 18. The city lists it as par 72, about 6,260 yards on the course page (the same page also notes 6,548 yards on the layout line — check the live scorecard before you play). It sits at 469 Parkway Drive, inside New Circle Road.
Formerly Campbell House Country Club, Picadome opened in 1927 as central Kentucky’s first public golf course. The city describes an old-style layout: tree-lined fairways, tight landing areas, and small undulating greens. Play Golf Lex runs a pro shop and a banquet room for outings.
