Kentucky golf course & club AI Identity checklist
For courses, clubs, and golf businesses in Kentucky. Your AI Identity is what models say when someone asks “best public course near…,” rates, or your club name.
Goal (one week): one clear sentence, consistent name/phone/address, one page worth quoting, city/region on the public file.
Day 1 — One sentence
- Who you serve + what kind of course/club + where (city/region, KY).
- Put it on the homepage hero — not only “About.”
- Same sentence on Google Business if you control it.
Day 2 — Name · phone · hours
- Official club name identical on site, GBP, and Facebook.
- Pro shop phone and hours consistent (seasonal notes OK if clear).
- Remove dead “rates 2019” pages that still rank.
Day 3 — A page models can quote
- Clean course/info page: holes, public/private, booking path, city.
- Use golfer words (tee times, walking, cart, range) — not only slogans.
- One clear “book / call” path.
Day 4 — Location
- City + Kentucky in body text once, naturally.
- Same on contact + maps listing.
Day 5 — Proof crumb
- One proof: year opened, notable event hosted, USGA/local recognition — dated if quote.
Day 6 — Ask the machines
- Private window: “golf courses near [city] KY” and your club name.
- Note wrong rates era, missing site, competitor first.
- Fix only what you control this week.
Day 7 — Leave a trail
- Update one external listing (GBP, chamber, state tourism if applicable).
- Optional: free AI Identity Snapshot (Answer Authority).
Grow the file forward. Evidence planting beats after-the-fact props.
